Why A Difficult Time For The Ego, Is A Period Of Growth For The Soul?

Our Dormant Powers are Revealed through Challenges

Consider a traumatic event that occurred in the last year. Try to gain a feel for the situation without being absorbed by it. Did you put up a fight at first? If so, what’s the reasoning behind it? Was it because of the bad feelings that accompanied the event? Or was it simply too much to bear? Return to the present time and see if you can spot the lessons you’ve learned. After you’ve finished reading this essay, I encourage you to jot down the lessons you’ve learned and reflect on how a challenging phase may lead to breakthroughs.

Your soul synchronizes your greatest struggles in order for you to grow spiritually. I know it’s hard to believe, but obstacles show your true power from the soul’s perspective. Because your inner strength challenges the ego, which is opposed to change, it will convince you that an event shouldn’t take place. Because development is a threat to its life, the ego will do all in its power to prevent it. The soul, on the other hand, sees growth as an individual’s expansion and development. It, unlike the ego, does not see issues as a danger to its life. As a result, challenges awaken latent abilities to solve issues.

Your Life Experiences Have Embedded Soul Lessons

The problem is that the ego despises being governed. To satisfy its egoic demands for protection, security, and survival, it desires to be in command. As a result, when obstacles come, the ego rejects them in order to maintain control over you. When people are unaware of their egoic character, problems emerge in relationships. Furthermore, the ego will flee from obstacles. It will minimise them in order to get its way. It’s a con artist, a con artist whose power is based on manipulation and control. Although I offer a bleak image of the ego, its purpose is to ensure that it retains its identity. As a result, it is functioning as nature intended in certain ways.

It’s critical to recognise the ego’s impact during difficult circumstances, but not to give in to it. When the ego strives to exert control over a situation, it increases its power. The trick is to be conscious of how it is used, since trials reveal your flaws so that they may be altered on a soul level. Can you see how approaching your problems from the ego’s point of view gives it additional power? It will deceive you into believing difficulties are not in your best interests if you give it power. But how can it tell if a challenging scenario isn’t exactly what you need to grow as a person? It can’t, and many individuals fall prey to the ego and lose out on crucial life lessons.

Soul

To expand on this concept, the soul is the silent voice of spirit that makes no demands and patiently waits. Other than being heard and believed, it serves no leader and commands no attention. In tough circumstances, it pays to listen to the voice of the soul. You may believe that there is a soul lesson entrenched in the event, even if you can’t make sense of it. Your greatest expansion as a soul occurs at your most painful periods; else, the experience would not be occurring.

Develop Into The Person Who Will Help You Solve Your Problems

I realise that when you’re going through a terrible time, you want to run away from it all. Whether it’s a rough relationship, your life falling apart, your health deteriorating, or your job taking an unexpected turn. These are soul teachings that are meant to awaken you to your larger potential. In a previous piece, I discussed how I’ve had to learn several soul lessons throughout my life. In fact, at the time of writing, I am in the midst of one that has lasted five years. I reside next door to a family who is a pain in the neck. To say they’ve regressed is an understatement.

They’ve pressed every pain button in my body, and I’ve been compelled to strike out in rage at times. However, because of the scars they provoked in me, I recognized this was a soul experience early on. Suing them was recommended by family, friends, and coworkers. Some advised me to respond, but I knew it would have done no good and simply exacerbated the situation. They have not altered despite my repeated warnings about their loud and disruptive behavior.

Personal Growth

So, while you’re going through a tough time, seek for the personal growth that comes with it. Many individuals attempt to make sense of the situation, yet meaning is a subjective concept. Instead, think about the spirit lessons you’ll learn from the event. Self-compassion, healing childhood traumas, addressing anger, and, of course, patience were among the things I learnt from my challenging neighbours. They have served as instructors and mentors to help me awaken to my higher self. To be clear, they are completely unaware that they are teachers or guides. They are simply going about their lives based on their low level of knowledge.

Let’s not get our words mixed up:

you’ll meet people like them throughout your life; rather than arguing with them, search for the spiritual teachings hidden inside the event. This message has been reiterated throughout the text because I feel it is more essential than seeking meaning. To put it another way, your soul teachings will be challenging and will push you to your limits. If it involves other people giving you issues, try to see the situation as an opportunity for personal growth.

Are you prepared to look at your problems with an open mind in light of this? Could you take a step back and look at it from a higher vantage point? I encourage you to write down your response and think about it. Examine whether your troubles are pushing you toward expansion and progress rather than suffering and despair. Instead of spinning your wheels, it will assist you in learning from the experience. Difficulties constitute conflict for the ego, but they are a time of breakthroughs and development for the soul.
