The Former Ireland Coach and player Martin O’Neill is celebrating his 70th Birthday today. The professional manager and great player was born on 1st of March 1952 in Kilrea, Norther Ireland.

He played for the norther Ireland between 1971 – 1984. Following that, he started his career as a Professional Manager in 1987 with Grantham Town. And, the stature of Martin O’Neill as a Coach has grown since then. During his career, he has served as the manager of many high-profile football clubs such as Leicester City, Celtic, and Aston Villa.

He also served as the Coach of the Irish National Football team between the years 2013 to 2018. During the period, he led the Irish team in 55 matches, with a win percentage of 34.5%.

Following that, he has also served as the manager of the Nottingham Forests. The senior pro even at the age of 70 is very fit and healthy. He has made it clear that he has not retired from the manager’s role yet and will continue to make himself available for the role even in future.
