Appreciation for Galway WFC
It was a wonderful experience and a great feeling to watch and witness our Galway WFC playing their last game of the season this evening at Terryland park, even though the result was not what we expected.
Well done to all senior ladies for their brilliant performance against the strong side Peamount. Sadly, victory was not on our side yesterday. Let’s just reflect on it as game time. Every game counts as a part of a player’s development.
The atmosphere at the stadium was brilliant. It was engaging, energizing, and refreshing to attend such a well-contested game in a bright and positive atmosphere.
The Upcoming Season:
Looking forward to seeing you all in the upcoming season with new management.
A big thanks to everyone involved with Galway WFC management for bringing expertise and experience around the table and engaging in such fruitful, constructive and open exchanges throughout the ten years. I would personally use this opportunity to appreciate all involved. Moreover, I would like to acknowledge and appreciate the recent efforts to make it a much stronger and more competitive unit. A bundle of thanks for allowing me to work with U19s as a Coach. It was a privilege working with the Galway WFC team.
Coaching Staff and Colleagues:
Here is a bit about the people who worked very closely with me and made it all a memorable and remarkable experience. Outfield manager Joe Tracey, Henry Williams, GK Coaches Adrian Cronin, Patrick Martin, and Ethan Fahy; It was indeed an honor and an outstanding experience working with every one of you. You people made each one of these moments incredibly special and worth remembering.
U17 and U19 Teams:
It was a great experience working with an admirable and super-talented group of players from the U17 and U19 teams. Here is one important and crucial thing that I want all these young women to know and keep in mind. The moment of selection to represent Galway City in a National Development League means that you are close to representing the Irish side at the national level. You are very close to fulfilling and realizing your dream.
It will come true, and you will get to wear the prestigious Green Irish National Team Jersey. Wear it with great pride and Belief.
I would like to wish the very best to all these players as they transition to their next phase of growth and development in the League of Ireland under the guidance of the new management of Galway United FC.
Hopefully, all of our wishes for our lovely team will come true, and I will see you all in the upcoming season in a better phase of development under the umbrella of Galway United FC.
Thank you to the Parents:
Thank you, thank you, thank you to all the super parents whose incredible value of life lessons learned from playing the beautiful game. I cannot appreciate them enough. A parent’s support is invaluable to a player’s growth. No player can succeed without this much-needed support and encouragement from the parents. Your contribution to the culture of football in Galway is invaluable. There would be no lady’s football without your help and support. And it is very truly, genuinely, and sincerely appreciated by the management, Coaches, other Parents, The Team, and, most of all, your children.
Someday your efforts will Pay Off, and we will see these young players dominating and bossing their favorite sport.
I wish you all the very best in your future endeavors. May you guys continue to make your team and Galway people proud.
Best Wishes and Warm Regards,
